Abstract

This article aims to apprehend the particularities of the constitution of the feminist collective subject in Cariri Cearense from the militant experience of the Women's Front of the Cariri Movements. The analysis presupposes the experience of resistance of women from the sertão, who are far from large urban centers, and live with social relations of sex, race/ethnicity and class, crossed by deep regional inequalities. The feminist collective subject Frente de Mulheres manages to mediate between the unique experiences of women, while aggregating a multiplicity of individual and collective subjects, materializing as a political body with a different identity. Diverse unity expressed in the idea of ​​making oneself singular, respecting the different differences and making oneself universal based on common points of oppression
