Abstract

The present study develop an analyses concerning pro-anorexy webblogs. In this analyses we tried identify good aspects for thinness espetaculared by mass media nowadays. Firstly, we wrote about Mass Media influences in the imaginary. On the second moment we did a brief psychological explanation about tha Nervous Anorexy to put in the discussion some prejudices that make relations between this eating disorder and mass media. We still give a necessaryexplanation about the blog concept and show some aspects related that were essentials to this research. It was realized that in the blogs there are a focus to thinness through the voluntary veiculation of the images of the thin “artists”. The conclusion is that in pro-anorexia blogs the girls use this images to justify their sickness search for the thin body.
