Abstract

Some inconclusive considerations (as it really should be when dealing with Kafka) about the fantastic and humor in the Prague writer's work, especially The Metamorphosis. From the comparison of different views on Kafka with the concepts of "inestética", by Alain Badiou, and "implicated reader", by Wolfgang Iser, the article proposes to think of the implausible as a significant resistance, always evading determinant interpretations.
