The aim of this article is to examine Jürgen Habermas’ conceptualization of political deliberation and show the extent to which it is related to his synthesis between liberalism and republicanism. It will be rendered evident that Habermas saw a complementary relation between the sphere of Law and the sphere of politics, so that it is not reasonable to presumed one of the to be subordinated to the other.Downloads
