Al-Fârâbî: el ser y la estructuración ontológica del universo

Tras una introducción en la que se señala la recepción de la filosofía griega en el mundo árabe e islámico tras su expansión desde Arabia en la zona del Próximo Oriente, con la asimilación de doctrinas aristotélicas y neoplatónicas, en este artículo se pretende exponer la noción del ser que propuso el filósofo Alfarabi (m. 950) así como la jerarquía ontológica del universo, a partir de la idea del Ser Necesario, Ser Primero y Causa Primera, fuente de toda realidad.
